THANKSGIVING FOR THE HOMELESS!

I wanted to share something with you that really makes me very happy. Helping the homeless. You've come a long way baby! That being me. When I was 16 I lived on the streets for almost two years in Hollywood California and managed to make it out alive! It truly was a miracle and a sign of God's eternal Grace. I make a point whenever possible to help the homeless any way I can. If it means giving some spare change while in my car or doing an event by donating my Photo Booth to bring smiles to the many, many faces of the homeless I am down for the task! It is a harsh reality that many folks today are so very close to being homeless. In todays economy so many people are literally just a paycheck away from losing their homes and being out in the street, literally. Not just single people either, families with children and pets! We have to be able to help others as my motto reads: "But for the grace of God go I" Try and remember a time when maybe you were down on your luck and couldn't pay your bills, try to reach out because you never know when it could be you. Today's job market gives little job security and with more layoff's now than since the great depression, it is a scary time for everyone. Do a little extra, if you are able to pay your utilities, donate a little if you can to help those programs that your utility company offers to help those with little to no incomes have warmth at a time when the world is so very cold, bring the warm clothes you no longer wear to the http://www.salvationarmyusa.org or better yet plan an event or offer a donation bucket at your store or donate to your local church. I have chosen not to post the Photo Booth photos of the homeless on here as I would like to respect their privacy, however you can go to the about me page on my site and see how well the event turned out, it was AWESOME I had one woman who got in the booth several times to take photos of herself for her son who is in prison. Her home caught fire and she was staying there until they ccould get her home rebuilt. Thanks for reading and remember.....

Chamber Gala up and coming!

Okay....
Sooooo it is almost time again for the Gulf Breeze Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala! It will be year three that we have had the privlidge of being able to partake in the amazing Gala...Thanks Meg...Chatterbox LOVES you! It is going to be a themed event this year, they are having PARADISE!
Every year we get a bunch of GREAT photos and get to share in the festivities with the Gulf Breeze Chamber as their wonderful members pick up their awards!
For those of you that are members remember to check back here to see the photos of your fun night at the Gala!
